What is this?
One hundred small cards were handed out over a couple of days. Each one asks the person holding it to do three things: take a photo with it, add that photo here, and give the card to someone new.
Every time a card changes hands, the trail on this site gets one hop longer. We're seeing how far a simple act of kindness can travel when nobody has to do more than pass it on.
What we store
- Your photo, your first name if you give it, and a note if you leave one.
- A rough location. The map rounds it to about a kilometre. Photo metadata, including GPS, is stripped on upload.
- If you type a place like a café, that place is used instead of your device location.
Want a photo taken down? Email the address on the card's back, or reply to whoever handed it to you. It'll be removed.
